The Best RPG of All Time!

Crowning a game since the best RPG game ever made is no simple feat.  There are so many points to take into account.  Is it fun?  Has it survived the test of time?  What innovations did it bring into the genre?  Does the game get old or boring?  I considered these, together with a few other questions as I made my own list of possible candidates.

My possible candidates were as follows,'' The Elderscrolls III Morrowind, Crono Trigger, Pokemon Red/Blue, Final Fantasy VII.  I managed to position them from 4-1 after my criteria.

By sheer undeniable fame, this game has to be on the list.  2 weeks following this game hit the streets every preteen and teenager was grabbing them all.  With its superb mix of violence and cute critters that the game captured the hearts of many kids.  The game has been its own world filled with monsters one can grab and instruct, who wouldn't like that?

3) Final Fantasy VII.  This is only one of the defining games of the RPG genre along with a groundbreaking game for the gaming world.  Not only did this game put forth a new standard for RPG's but it incorporated fantastic characters and character development.  By the end, the gamer feels a connection with the characters that is not often found in most games.

A game with more twist and turns afterward an Indy car race.  The game uses time travel to show the gamer the significance of small and seemingly unimportant events.  The cast of characters will be wildly varied and interesting.  The game utilizes a time-based strategy which works great together with the great assortment of foes in the world.

This is most certainly the greatest RPG ever made for a few factors.  The PC version is still releasing mods, so people love playing it so much they're still designing new levels, characters, and quests.  The game is completely open.  There aren't any principles to Morrowind.  If you would like to go out and murder every single character in the game YOU CAN (you hope that you are tougher then 5000-year-old wizard).  If you would like to steal from every shop, kill every cop, become a werewolf, become a vampire, become the most powerful wizard in the world and kill gods possible.  The game also has a wonderful world of humanoids and monsters such as cat people and lizard men.  Morrowind's absolute freedom makes it the best RPG ever made.

On a side note, Morrowind is still among the most frustrating, challenging, complex games I've ever played with.   The most essential part and the hardest part is character development, which is right at the beginning.  Should you purchase this game and try it out go online and look for Morrowind help, there's absolutely no shame in getting help for this game, it is very hard but also incredibly rewarding.  Enjoy.
